Will using TeamRunner raise the cost for my participants?

The simple answer is no. In fact our participating hotels agree to provide the lowest group rates available in response to all quote requests. They guarantee that no lower group rate or special promotional rate will be in effect for similar groups, during the dates of the contracted event. Additionally, restaurants and businesses are encouraged to provide special offers and promotions to support a long-term relationship with TeamRunner members.

What kind of agreement do I have to sign?

I have annual agreements with specific hotels. Can they be included in the TeamRunner hotel choices
A
Absolutely, you may submit a specific hotel for inclusion in the TeamRunner system by providing us with the hotel name or contact information and we will get in touch with the hotel about registering. You may also suggest they go online and join.

Will my players be charged for using TeamRunner?

Nope. TeamRunner is free for teams and players.

I am busy do I have to do anything to ensure it is successful?

Though TeamRunner does all of the heavy lifting it is very important to initially provide your account manager with needed information that he/she will request as part of the on-boarding process. The most successful events are ones that have open lines of communication which will allow TeamRunner to meet all of your needs.

How are room nights and restaurant charges being accurately tracked?

We provide a report that is cross referenced with the business’s system to ensure accuracy.

Will I be able to get reports after my tournament?
A
All existing reports are created in real-time and may be accessed at anytime. You may also submit requests for additional reports for consideration in future versions of the system.

Will restaurants have preferred prices for my players?
A
Restaurants are motivated to offer discounts and fixed priced meals in order to keep TeamRunner players as returning customers.

How do my players arrange meals at restaurants and how do you keep track of that?
A
The person in charge of booking meals for teams will log in to TeamRunner and submit proposals to restaurants of interest . Once a restaurant is chosen they have the option of paying or having a link sent to team members so they may pay themselves.

Will running my event through TeamRunner lower my rebate?
A
No. TeamRunner pays the sports organization a rebate based on the agreed to RFP.

When will I get paid and who pays me?
A
Sports organizations will receive their rebate from TeamRunner within 60 business days of the conclusion of the organization’s event.

How much commission do I receive from businesses other than hotels?
A
Your agreement provides all of the commission/rebate amounts for various businesses.
